Heritage Park Hosts Drop-In Homeschool Nature Programs

Homeschool Nature Programs meet every Tuesday through Mar. 14 from 1 to 2 pm at the Nature Center.

From Heritage Park: Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the natural world. A naturalist will lead hands-on, memorable experiences outdoors, while exploring a different nature theme each week. It’s a great way to get outside, meet other homeschool families and supplement your at-home lessons.

Homeschool Nature Programs meet every Tuesday through Mar 14 from 1 to 2:00 p.m. at the Nature Center. There will be no class on February 21. The program is designed as a drop-off class, so parents who decide to stay are encouraged to network and socialize with other homeschool families in the Nature Center. The class is available for children ages 6 to 12. Students will be split into two age groups depending on the number of participants. Please dress for the weather and exploring outdoors.

The drop-in fee is $8 per child per class. Don’t forget to register for the spring session that begins March 28. The discounted fee for pre-registering for the entire session is only $50. Register online at https://recreg.fhgov.com or at the Costick Center.
