Homeowner Spots Suspect After Farmington Hills Break-In

A Farmington Hills resident called police Monday evening, after arriving home to find a man running from the house on Oak Valley Drive. 

According to a Tuesday morning Nixle.com alert, police were called at about 6:50 p.m. They found the home's rear sliding glass door shattered and the inside of the home ransacked. 

The suspect is described as a white man, 6'3" tall with an average build and wearing a red winter hat, who got in to the passenger side of a newer model Cadillac CTS with tinted windows. Anyone with information should call the Farmington Hills Police Command Desk, 248-871-2610. 

Residents should call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
