Learn About Addiction, Physics at Unitarian Universalist Church Forums
The Farmington Hills church offers Thursday evening programs through October and November.

The Universalist Unitarian Church of Farmington Lifelong Learning Forum will host forums on Thursday that will help participants understand addiction and how physics has changed our lives.Â
At 7:30 p.m., chemical dependency specialist Marian Moir will talk about the process of addiction, the genetic predisposition, health problems related to addiction, and how the addict can be helped. In addition, Ron Campbell is a longtime member of UU Farmington and retired engineer, will discuss the giants who shaped our changing understanding of the universe.
The church offers programs on Thursdays throughout October and November. Topics include religion, philosophy, art, health, science, social, and political issues. All classes are open to the public, and a $5 donation is suggested. Refreshments are served during a 7 p.m. social gathering.
