From Farmington Hills Cultural Art Division: Paint the Town Red…or Green, Blue, Yellow and More!

The City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division is offering a variety of adult painting classes, including acrylic, oil, and watercolor classes, at the Heritage Park Stables Art Studio. Each class is designed to support new and experienced artists alike.

Acrylic paint is a desired medium for many artists due to its shorter drying time and flexibility. In the Acrylic Painting class, participants will further their abilities with the medium, learn about numerous materials used in the practice of acrylic painting, and develop their abilities using the elements and principles of design. Acrylic has the ability to be thick and luxurious or to be applied in many layers of washes creating rich depth. Instructor Jennifer Salazar will guide participants through their individual investigations with the medium.
