MADD Honors Farmington Hills Police Officer
In his first full year as a Farmington Hills police officer, Nicholas West made 33 drunken driving arrests.

West joined the police department in June 2013 after serving as a police officer in Auburn HIlls for a year and a half. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

As a whole, the Farmington Hills Police Department made 233 arrests from drunken driving in 2014.
Police Chief Charles Nebus said the combined efforts of West and other officers have made βtravel safer in Farmington Hills.β
