SOUTHFIELD, MI — A new Middle Eastern restaurant has opened in Oakland County.

House of Falafel, best known for its authentic Mediterranean flavors, opened a new spot at 26587 Evergreen Road in Southfield on Monday.

The restaurant's menu features hand-crafted falafel, freshly grilled meats and vibrant salads. Popular items include its falafel served with tahini sauce, falafel burgers and shawarma wraps.

The new restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

House of Falafel's original location in Farmington Hills location is open Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
