Police Chase ATV Driver in Farmington Hills
The male driver ran after his vehicle crashed in a ravine off Ridgewood.

Farmington Hills Police have confiscated a green, 3-wheel all-terrain vehicle (ATV), after a chase through neighborhoods in the area of Power and Dohaney Sunday afternoon.Β
According to the report, an officer on patrol spotted the ATV turn onto Power Road from 10 Mile Road, traveling at a high rate of speed. When the officer turned on his vehicle'sΒ lights and siren, the driver turned to look at him and took off, hitting speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
Police lost sight of the ATV when it left the road on Ivywood. A witness told police the vehicle crashed in a ravine behind a home on Ridgewood, and the driver ran toward Farmington Road.Β
The driver is described as beingΒ 6 feet tall,Β 210 pounds, wearing tan shorts and a dark blue t-shirt with a white emblem. He wore his baseball cap backwards.Β
