Record-Holding Cats Still Missing, $100K Reward In Play

Wreckage From Local Fire Has No Cat Remains, Guinness Record Holding Cats Spotted In Farmington

Will and Lauren Powers whose Guinness World-Record holding cats and two others went missing after a house fire last month say that no feline remains were found in the home’s wreckage. According to the Detroit Free Press, on Wednesday, Will Powers made a Facebook post saying no trace of the cats was found after the demolition of the burned Quaker Valley Lane home. The $100,000 reward offered by the Powers family, to be paid in bitcoin, remains active, Powers said.

Since the Nov 12 fire that destroyed the Powers’ family home, reports of the missing pets have surfaced in the Farmington area, and reports of the reward and stories about the record-holding cats, the tallest cat at 20 inches, and the longest tail at 17 inches, have made headlines across the globe.
