Two Farmington Hills Merrill Advisors Named Forbes' Top List
Jason Bowens and Donny Wohl were named to Forbes' 2023 "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list.
Two Farmington Hills Merrill advisors, Jason Bowens and Donny Wohl, were recently named to Forbes’ 2023 “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list.
Bowens is a CFA charter holder, Certified Financial Planner, and Senior Portfolio Manager. He focuses on total wealth management and develops customized strategies that are tailored to each individual’s unique financial needs. Bowens earned the Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designation through Merrill for his specialized work with the complex needs of professional athletes and entertainers. He is also recognized as a Retirement Benefits Consultant which allows him to provide 3(21) fiduciary services to retirement plans. Bowens earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Michigan Tech University where he played football for four years. He also earned a master’s degree in engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Wohl is a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor. He designs customized portfolios that reflect his clients’ objectives and investment preferences. Prior to joining Merrill, Wohl spent ten years as executive director of a private bank. Wohl graduated from the University of Michigan and played on its basketball team, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors and the Bodnar Academic Achievement award. He serves on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Ann Arbor and the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, where he is an inductee.
