Water Main Break Closes Drake Road in Farmington Hills

Some Farmington Hills residents living along Drake Road from Howard to East Lyman Street are currently without water, as city crews work to repair a water main break. 

According to a Nixle.com alert sent at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, only one home is under a boil water alert and that resident has been notified. Water service should be restored early Thursday evening, the alert indicated. 

Authorities expect the road to be closed for several days while repairs are made, and signs have been posted detouring traffic around the site.
