Friday's freeΒ Rhythmz in Riley ParkΒ concert showcases the talents ofΒ Grand Rapids-based indie-folk artists The Crane Wives, a band known for itsΒ three-part vocal harmonies andΒ eclectic instrumentation. Rain location isΒ First United Methodist Church, across Grand River.Β3. Welcome late summer produce at the market.Β
According to theΒ Michigan Produce Availability Guide, we should start seeing sweet corn, beets, potatoes and more atΒ theΒ Farmington Farmers and Artisans MarketΒ this time of year. Check it outΒ on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the temporary location on Orchard Street, east of Farmington Road.Β4. Help a Farmington Hills business celebrate.
