When is Opening Day of the Farmington Farmers Market?
The annual farmers market is lined up with cooking demonstrations and live performances.

FARMINGTON, MI – The Farmington Farmers Market will return with style on May 14 with its “Swing Into Spring” celebration starting at 9 a.m.
It will be open every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov. 5 at Walter E. Sundquist Pavilion in George F. Riley Park.
The market will kick off the season with a special bell ringing ceremony, and it will continue with live music, a cooking demonstration with chef Zach Peterlin and free swing dance lessons at 10:30 a.m.

The market is kid-friendly as each week will bring new festivities and keep the little ones’ attention at the Little Sprouts Children’s Activity Corner.

Every two weeks, there will be an opportunity to watch top chefs show off their skills as part of the “Cookin’ at the Market” campaign.
Music will be provided by various artists throughout the season including The Normandies, Jamrocks, Gia Warner, Mark Reitenga, Bob Monteleone, Sinjon Smith and many more.
