Woman Shot, Injured At Oakland County Home: Reports
Police were still looking for the shooter.
SOUTHFIELD, MI — A 53-year-old woman was shot and injured at her Oakland County home Tuesday night, according to local news reports.
The shooting happened at 9:09 p.m. in the driveway of a Southfield home located in the Evergreen Trail neighborhood near 11 Mile and Evergreen roads, reports said.
The woman had just arrived home with her grandson when the shooter fired shots into her SUV, striking her multiple times, WXYZ reports.

The victim's family members took her to a nearby hospital where she was listed in stable condition, police said.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting, but that the woman and her grandson were not the intended targets.
