$1.69 Million Lake Fenton Home Open to Public Tuesday

If you’ve ever wondered about the colossal cream-colored home on the north end of Lake Fenton, now is your chance to look inside. will open this $1.69 million dollar lakefront home to the public from 9 a.m. until noon Jan. 10.

Located at 11481 Bay Shore Drive in Fenton Township, this new home is one of the largest single-family residences ever built in Genesee County. It features over 12,000 square feet of living space, including seven bedrooms, eight baths, and twin winding staircases in the entry foyer.

The most prominent feature is the 24 floor-to-ceiling windows which give a panoramic view of the lake from every floor.

“This is destined to be one of the signature homes in the area,” said Steven Melchor, the listing agent for the property. “It is exciting to be able to open it for a few hours to the community.”

“Years from now, some people will look at it and say, ‘I’ve been
inside.’”

Although construction on the home began in 2007, it is not yet completed. Finishing touches like the selection of counter tops and appliances remain for the new owner, according to Melchor.
