5 Things to Know This Week in Fenton
Here are five things you should know as you go about your week.

1. Back to the Bricks Tune-Ups
The 9th annual Back to the Bricks will take place in Flint from Aug. 13-17, however several "Tune-Up" events will be held this week around the area including one in Fenton on Thursday, Aug. 8. Find more information here.
2. Gas main replacements
Starting Monday, Aug. 5, Consumers Energy will be replacing gas mains on Lincoln Street, Adelaide Street and Jefferson Street. The project is expected to take about two weeks to complete and will cause intermittent lane closures. Find more information here.
3. Farmers Market and outdoor concert
The Fenton Farmers Market will be open 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at 150 South Leroy Street, and the Fenton Summer Concert Series continues at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fenton Gazebo (rainout location at Fenton Community & Cultural Center).4. Petitions for council, mayor
Petitions are still available for Fenton's Mayoral and City Council election in November. The deadline to file petitions to the Fenton City Clerk's office is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Find more details here.

5. Books and Bits
