If anyone is interested in joining The on Oak Park Street the 2012 organizational meeting is being held at Tuesday, March 6th at 6 p.m.
They will be assigning plots and collecting this season's dues, handing out handbooks. Also, plot agreements will be signed at that time. A 10' x 20' individual plot is $40 for the season and includes all the City water you want to use. There are several workshops planned and the group is again looking forward to helping feed those in need from the larger community plot. Workshops include composting/soil amendments, cheese making, using medicinal herbs, the advantages of heirloom seeds and more.
If you're interested, come and sign up. Plot holders from 2011 will have the opportunity to keep their plots or change spots Tuesday night. Remaining available plots will be offered first some first serve.
