Fenton Fire Department to Host 9/11 Memorial Sunday
The ceremony will take place at 9:59 a.m., the same time the first tower collapsed 10 years ago.
The will host a ceremony on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93.
The short memorial service will be held at 9:59 a.m. Sunday, at the Fenton Fire Station. It is the same time that the first tower collapsed. The public is invited to attend.
The department is also providing a wrist band to city employees and encouraging them to wear the band until after the anniversary in remembrance and “Never Forget” what happened Sept. 11, 2001.

Fire officials will sound a siren, which will be followed by a one minute of silence and a short ceremony before a wreath is placed on a fire truck. A also will be on display.
