Fenton Police Seize More than 400 Pills in Prescription Drug Scam

Fenton Police arrested a health care professional suspected of filling out false prescriptions and seized more than 400 pills from the man Tuesday.
Chief Rick Aro said police received a tip Anthony Carbajal,of Grand Blanc, was filling out prescriptions for fictitious individuals and then was using the drugs for personal use.
Aro said police recieved information that Carbajal had entered in Fenton to pick up a prescription around 1 p.m. April 24. Police responded and made a traffic stop on Carbajal's vehicle. Aro said he admitted to being involved in a prescription drug scam.

Aro said he had more than a 100 prescription medications in his possession and police seized more than 400 tablets.
Carbajal was arraigned and is being held at the Genesee County Jail.
