Fenton's Rainbow Child Care Center Expands

The has an indoor gym for children to play in, but because of increasing enrollment, the center recently had to use it as a classroom.

That isn’t the case anymore, however, as the center has expanded to another building.

The center, located at 16400 Silver Parkway, is now leasing a building just across the parking lot, behind the .

“We had just grown so much,” said Director Jaci Ettinger. “It just wasn’t working.”

Each building contains six classrooms and an indoor gym for the 85 children enrolled. The expansion also gave officials the opportunity to separate the younger children from the school-age children and to offer more programming, including premier preschool and private kindergarten.

“We are very excited. We were able to split up the groups,” said Ettinger. “It gives us a lot more flexibility.”

The new building was opened to children Oct. 17.
