The store not only sells jewelry but offers repairs, customized jewelry and appraisals. It will also take vintage pieces of jewelry and turn them into new pieces that can be passed down generations.

β€œWe have a diverse selection and offer a variety of services,” Chip Beltinck said. β€œWe offer a lot of things other jewelry stores won’t, and we do it in a way that keeps people coming back.”

The jewelry shop will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year, but right now, the focus is on Valentine’s Day.

The store has deals on heart pendants, sterling silver bracelets or β€” if you are looking to pop the question or celebrate an anniversary β€” diamond rings.

β€œValetine’s Day is more of sentimental holiday,” Mary Ann Beltinck said. β€œIt’s a great will-you-marry-me day.’”

In addition to its Valentine’s Day jewelry sale, Sawyer’s is offering a blue dot 40 percent off sale and will host a Chamilia Valentine's Trunk Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
