Fenton Salon to Celebrate One Year in Business with Benefit for Children
Elle Marie Hair Studio will host "Bringing Out the Beauty" on April 30.

Starting a new business is always an adventure full of challenges, risks and emotion.
A year after she opened in Downtown Fenton, Andrea Miller is feeling one emotion in particular above all others: gratitude.
“It’s been a great year,” Miller says. “We’re growing really fast, and we just love our community and location.”

Elle Marie Hair Studio is located right in the heart of Downtown Fenton’s historic Dibbleville area. Not only do Miller and her stylists like the character of their historic building, but they love being in the center of the bustle of visitors, passersby and downtown events.
“It’s so fun to be downtown,” Miller says. “We get a lot of walk-ins.”

Miller adds that two of the secrets to Elle Marie Hair Studio’s success over the past year have been great customer service and highly-trained stylists.
“We’re education-driven,” says Miller. “We are constantly staying up on trends and learning new things.”
It’s therefore appropriate that the stylists of Elle Marie are celebrating their one-year anniversary with a hairstyle education event, “Bringing Out the Beauty.”
For a $10 cover charge on April 30, visitors will get a consultation from a stylist on how to care for and style their hair at home. All proceeds will benefit Whaley Children’s Center in Flint.
“We just want to give back for all of the community has done for us this year,” says Miller. “Children are such a priority for us here, and we hope this will be a great benefit for Whaley’s.”
Visitors will also enjoy refreshments and 30 percent off all Bumble and Bumble hair products during the event that will take place from 4-8 pm on Saturday, April 30.
