Fenton's Kenny Allen Headed to the Big House
Kicker commits to play for the University of Michigan.
Kenny Allen has come up big this season.
The kicker against Linden to end a 10-year losing streak to the Eagles.
Now Allen is headed to the Big House.

The Tri-County Times reports Allen has verbally committed to play for the University of Michigan next fall. The article stated he had a full-ride scholarship offer from Oregon State and he visited Alabama, but chose to be a preferred walk-on for the Wolverines.
"My whole life, me and my brother would play football outside and pretend we were a team," Allen told the Tri-County Times. "Every time we'd pick Michigan."

GBMWolverine - A Michigan Wolverines Blog profiled Allen and stated, "Allen has a perfect body type for kicking. He has a long, lean body,with very good leg extension and strong overall athletic ability."
The profiled stated he shows good leg extension on punts, but needs to speed up punting stroke and shorten kickoff approach. The GBMWolverine blog stated they expect Allen to be red-shirted his freshman year.
The Flint Journal reported it was the Wolverines night game against Notre Dame that convinced Allen to commit.
“Well, pretty much when I went out there, I just fell in love with everything,” Allen told the Fenton Press. “I just loved the atmosphere and the school. (The Notre Dame game) was a crazy night. I just kind of decided that’s where I wanted to go (after that).
