Firefighters Battle Brush Fire in Fenton Township

Blaze burns ditch on Lahring Road near North Road.

battled a brush fire Wednesday afternoon on Lahring Road near North Road.

The blaze began around 2 p.m. and spread through a ditch on Lahring Road from the Glen Devon subdivision to near North Road. Firefighters were able to keep the blaze under control and keep damage to a mininum.

Firefighters were unsure of the cause of the fire.
