Health Food Store Brings More Wellness to Fenton With Expansion and New Location

began just one year ago for a very good reason: simple demand.

Marjie Andrejciw’s holistic nutritional health counseling business, Circle of Life Nutrition, had been going strong for years, but her clients were consistently faced with the same issue.

“They would say, ‘You’ve made some great dietary recommendations, but where can I get the food?’” recalls Andrejciw. She therefore opened her food panty on Caroline Street in May 2010, only to find her business grow even more quickly than expected.

That’s why Marjie’s Gluten Free Food Pantry is celebrating its first anniversary in a new location:  106 South LeRoy, a storefront three times the size of her former location. The new, expanded space includes convenient parking, ADA compliant restrooms and will allow Andrejciw to grow her inventory, which already includes an array of gluten-free food items, many of which are from Michigan producers.

“We now have new dairy free ice cream among other new items in stock,” she says, “And we plan on adding more classes later in the summer. It’s my hope that as we continue to grow we’ll be offering more and more.”

For Andrejciw, there was no question when it was time to relocate that she would stay in Downtown Fenton.

“We went into the building and it just spoke to us,” she says. “It just seemed right. All of my neighbors have all been in to visit and are so excited we’re there. It’s a great place to be.”

A Grand Opening is planned for the new Marjie’s Gluten Free Pantry location in late July. Andrejciw is pleased to announce the store will be open late on Thursdays during the Fenton Farmers Market this summer and will also be open during the Fenton Freedom Festival Parade on July 4^th.
