Chief John Moulton died of cancer at age 66 and many firefighters, family and friends said goodbye at his funeral Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church

"He was more of a dad than a fire chief to me," said Fenton Township Battalion Chief Ryan Volz.

Moulton joined the Fenton Township Fire Department in 1985 and was named chief in 1993.
