Beecher's only threat came in the second inning when two singles and a walk loaded the bases, but Lake Fenton catcher Wyatt Wilson picked a runner off third, and Bourdeau struck out the next batter. Tim Hooks pitched the last inning and struck out all three batters he faced.

In the nightcap, Kirk struck out five in three innings and gave up only one hit.  Beecher's run was the result of a throwing error. Hooks had two RBI, Spencer Quick and Wayne Simons singled and Neil Allor's RBI double ended the game by mercy in the bottom of the third.
