Michigan is a 'Friendly, Conventional' State, According to Study

Which state do you belong in?

Michiganders are anΒ extroverted and agreeable bunch, a recent study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology says.

The study, conducted by a multinational team of researchers,Β sought to "map the American mood," according to a story in Time magazine.

The Time article also includes a test you can take to find out which state best matches your personality.

Wisconsin was ranked the most extroverted state, and Utah was crowned "most agreeable."Β 

West Virginians distinguished themselves as most neurotic, and Washington, DC is considered the most open state.

South Carolina is the most conscientious, the study says.
