MCC Fine Arts Gallery will feature the work of Degree Candidates in the Fine Arts degree program. The exhibition of artworks by the Fine Arts Degree Candidates from the Studio Arts Program will be on view from December 1 through 14.

Artists include Alexis Alvarez, Ezekiel Border of Flint, Christina Jones, of Burton, Ellary Elizabeth Morris, of Grand Blanc, Mirth Pack, of Grand Blanc, and Ashley Wirsing, of Clio. They will present works that are part of an artist portfolio that they have been building for the duration of their degree. This degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a university or art school and major in art or design, and focuses on art foundation classes and general education requirements that will transfer to other institutions.

Artist Ashley Wirsing states “I tend to use different mediums and styles based on my current interests and feelings. I really enjoy exploring different things, in art and otherwise.”

This exhibition will be a diverse fusion of styles and genres from the MCC Associates in Fine Arts Degree Program.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be limited capacity in the gallery, and all ART Talks will be virtual.
