Mott Community College’s Fine Arts Gallery will present an exhibition of illustrations by Manda Villarreal from March 14 through 29. The exhibit is titled “Quarantine in Black and White,” and will feature ink drawings on paper. In addition, Villarreal will give an Art Talk 10 am March 18. In her Artist Statement Villarreal states, “In this series titled Quarantine in Black and White, I use ink drawings to capture quarantine as an experience for myself and others alike. When the world began to feel like an unsafe and complicated place, making ink drawings is what I did to create positivity and pattern in my life.”

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be limited capacity in the gallery and all ART Talks will be virtual. All visitors are expected to follow the MCC Standards and perform the Mandatory Health and Wellness Check before they travel to MCC. Please visit mcc.edu/reopen for up to date information.
