Police Blotter: Missing Mirror, Outstanding Warrants

Here is a look at Fenton Police action from Monday to Friday.

A Fenton resident reported Monday that the mirror and the bulb from the mirror turn signal on her 2005 GMC Envoy were missing, police said.

Lt. Jason Slater said the woman reported that her vehicle was parked outside of her apartment on Silver Lake Road, west of U.S. 23.

The woman gave police the name of a suspect, and officers are investigating the incident, Slater said.

Oustanding warrants

  • Fenton Police picked up a 39-year-Owosso resident Monday from the state police post in Oakland County because of an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in a loud noise violation case, Slater said. She was processed and arraigned.
  • On Tuesday, an officer on patrol recognized a man who had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a second drunken driving charge and driving on a suspended license near Trealout Drive and North LeRoy, Slater said. Officers arrested the 46-year-old Fenton resident and lodged him at the Fenton Police Department before transporting him to the 67th District Court.
