Police Blotter: Missing Purses

Here is a look at the city of Fenton Police action from March 5 until March 8.

A woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle March 5, police said.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said the woman came into the police department to report that her purse was stolen from her unlocked 1999 Chevy Suburban between 8 and 11 p.m. on Orchard View Drive.

She reported the purse contained her paperwork and a small amount of cash.

Police have no suspects.

Another missing purse

A woman reported her purse missing after she left in a cart at , police said.

Aro said a woman was leaving Walmart with her purse in the cart and was in a hurry because of weather conditions. She left her purse in the cart, and while doing some additional shopping at another store, realized she had left it behind, Aro said.

She returned to the cart to find the white purse with yellow lining missing.
