Savvy Students: Devyn Stites

The school year is winding down. Graduation is around the corner. Fenton Patch would like to give recognition to Lake Fenton and Fenton seniors for all their hard work. That’s why we will be featuring the top 10 students from each school for the next several weeks.

Today we meet Devyn Stites, who is No. 8 in Lake Fenton's Class of 2011 with a 3.755 grade-point average. He is the son of Denise and Robert Stites of Fenton. These are his answers.

Favorite subject: Math. Solving equations are a bunch of puzzles, and I love solving puzzles.

Accomplishment you’re most proud of: Learning how to play "Fiction" by Avenged Sevenfold on piano, completely by ear.

What you’re most looking forward to this summer: Freedom from high school!

Favorite high school memory: Marching band trip to Florida in ’09.

Celebrity you’d most like to meet: I wish I could’ve met Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. Sadly, he passed away December ’09.”
