Savvy Students: Linda Marchlewski

The school year is winding down. Graduation is around the corner. Fenton Patch would like to give recognition to Lake Fenton and Fenton seniors for all their hard work. That’s why we will be featuring the top 10 students from each school for the next several days.

Today we meet Lake Fenton co-valedictorian Linda Marchlewski, daughter of Gail and Joseph Marchlewski. She earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Favorite subject: “Calculus, because it has come pretty easily to me and I like the challenge of the word problems.”

Accomplishment you’re most proud of: “First-team All-League in cross-country because I worked hard for it all through training and it was redemption from a rough sophomore season.”

What you’re most looking forward to this summer: “Preparing for college and spending time with people who are back from college.”

Favorite high school memory: “Sports. Every season was unique and has countless memories.”

Celebrity you’d most like to meet: “Jake Gyllenhaal because he is beautiful.”
