Savvy Students: Sarah Smith

The school year is winding down. Graduation is around the corner. Fenton Patch would like to give recognition to Lake Fenton and Fenton seniors for all their hard work. That’s why we will be featuring the top 10 students from each school for the next several weeks.

Today we meet Sarah Smith, seventh in the Lake Fenton Class of 2011 with a 3.760 grade-point average. She is the daughter of Cathy and Scott Smith of Fenton. These are her answers.

Name: Sarah Smith

Favorite subject and why: Anatomy and physiology, because it’s interesting and challenges my brain.

Accomplishment you’re most proud of: I am very proud that I was in the Flint Youth Symphony for two years.

What you’re most looking forward to this summer: I am looking forward to spending some time with my friends before I leave for college.

Favorite high school memory: I loved all the band trips that I went on.

Celebrity you’d most like to meet: Racheel Ray, because she could make me a delicious meal in 30 minutes!
