1 Hurt, 1 Arrested In Oakland County Hotel Shooting: Police

ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, MI — A person has been arrested in connection with an Oakland County shooting that left one person injured last week, according to police.

The shooting happened at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the American Inn and Suites, located at 11000 W. Eight Mile in Royal Oak Township, according to police.

Officers found one person suffering from a gunshot wound, while the shooter fled the hotel, according to police.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where they were listed in critical condition, according to police.

After interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance video, officers arrested the suspected shooter at a home in Detroit on Saturday, according to police.

Officers also found a gun at the home, according to police.
