1 Injured After Car Smashes Into Oakland County Building: Police
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
FERNDALE, MI — A man was injured Tuesday after he crashes his car into an Oakland County building, according to police.
The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday along 9 Mile Road near Livernois Avenue in Ferndale, according to police.
Police said the man was moving west on 9 Mile Road at Forest Street where he crossed over into the eastbound lanes and smashed into the Ferndale One Complex.

The car initially crashed into a stairwell, so no apartment units were directly affected by the crash, according to police.
Photos posted to social media showed the car upside down at one of the units.

The 38-year-old man was the only person inside the car and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
There were no other injuries in the crash, which police were still investigating.
