5 Things To Do This Weekend In Ferndale
Check out a few activities to add to your weekend agenda.
FERNDALE, MI — TGIF to Ferndale! Here are a few weekend activities in the Ferndale area to put on your radar.
1. Hit up the Ferndale Holiday Show Place Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Kulick Community Center (1201 Livernois). Admission is one dollar.
2. Enjoy one of the more than dozen Royal Oak restaurants offering "Kids Eat Free" promos on Sunday, Dec. 4. Click here for the full list of restaurants offering the deal.

3. Go for a horse-drawn carriage ride at Birmingham's Winter Mrkt in Shain Park. The Winter Mrkt will also be a hotbed of European food and drinks, ice carving demos, reindeer, live entertainment and Santa! Festivities kick off Friday, Dec. 2 from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
4. Feeling crafty? And a little indie? Check out the Detroit Urban Craft Fair, which is heralded as Michigan's largest and longest-running indie craft fair. The fair is 10 a.. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Masonic Temple, 500 Temple St., Detroit.

5. Here's the king of all holiday open houses: The 44th annual Noel Night in Midtown Detroit, where over 100 venues are free of charge, ranging from the Detroit Institute of the Arts to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to the Detroit Public Library. And who doesn't love a singalong? The night concludes with a singalong on Woodward Ave. led by the Salvation Army Band. Check it out on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
