Como's Pizza Closed For Health Issues
Cleanliness, insects and other issues were cited by Oakland County in shuttering the restaurant.
FERNDALE, MI — Popular dining spot Como’s Pizza has been closed by the Oakland County Health Department for the second time in a year. Citing cleanliness, insects and other issues, the restaurant was closed as of Wednesday, according to a Detroit News report. The department also closed the restaurant in September 2016.
"We will reopen," George Grego said through a spokeswoman. "We look forward to making pizzas again soon."
The long-time eatery on Woodward at Nine Mile Road closed because of health code violations, according to Leigh-Anne Stafford, Health Officer of the Oakland County Health Division.
