The Conserva In Ferndale Is Closing
The popular restaurant known for its creative American foods is closing after just two years.

FERNDALE, MI β A popular Ferndale restaurant is shuttering after just two years of running in the city. Known for its creative American fare, The Conservaβs last day serving diners will be Dec. 22.
Owners Matt Jarrod and Jarrod Kassis announced the decision in a Facebook post on Wednesday:
"To all our guests, past, present and future: we consider ourselves lucky to have served you and truly hope youβve enjoyed yourselves as much as we have. However, our time in Ferndale is coming to a close," the post said.
"Weβre proud of every plate weβve sent out, every wine weβve opened and every cocktail weβve shaken. Our goal, like so many of our peers, is to raise the bar across Detroitβs dining and drinking landscape and that wonβt change moving forwardβits who we are. However, due to extenuating circumstances in our families, it won't be reasonable for us to continue running Conserva to its full potential.
Our goal is to come back stronger when the time is right. Until then, we canβt thank you enough for your support."
Conserva, which opened in December of 2016, is hosting a two-year anniversary party on its last day.
