Ferndale Love March 2016

Hundreds of marchers paraded through the streets of Ferndale in a public show of love.

FERNDALE, MI The Ferndale Love March overtook the streets of Ferndale on Nov. 20 in a massive show of love and support for the community's diverse population.

The Ferndale Love March's Facebook post stated in advance of the event, "Gather with us to march to stand against hatred, bigotry, racism, sexism, and xenophobia. Throw on your pantsuits and take a walk..."

Hundreds of marchers sure did turn up for the walk. Holding signs with messages of love, they met at Affirmations LGBTQ Community Center and marched along 9 Mile to a rally at Geary Park.
