A popular Ferndale restaurant announced Friday that it is winding down business.
FERNDALE, MI β A popular Ferndale restaurant announced Friday that it is winding down business, according to a Facebook post.
The Emory, located on Woodward Avenue in downtown Ferndale, said it will permanently close its doors at the end of 2024. No specific reasons were given for the closure.
"Weβve loved seeing the city grow, and seeing our staff evolve and move on to do amazing things," the post read on social media. "Weβve seen our guestsβ first dates, new yearsβ kisses, farewells, and many other moments that weβre honored to have shared."

The restaurant was best known for their brunch menu, including sliders, salads and desserts, as well as cocktails and wines.
The restaurant, which opened in 2007, said it will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December.
