Ferndale School District: Talented And Gifted Program Nominations For The 2021-22 School Year

The nomination and placement process for current fifth graders into next year's sixth grade Magnet Program will take place in April. The Magnet Program will serve students who are capable of performing at significantly advanced academic levels. Teachers nominate those students who they believe to be in the top 3 - 5% of their class, and parents are contacted for permission to assess students for placement into the program. 

If you are interested in having your fifth grade child considered for testing into this program, please contact your child's teacher by March 26, 2021. If you have questions about the Magnet Program placement process, please contact the Teaching and Learning office of Ferndale School District at 360-383-9210.
