Man, 27, Shot To Death On Woodward Ave. In Oakland County: Police
Police believe the man was driving an SUV south on Woodward near 8 Mile Road when he was shot multiple times.
FERNDALE, MI β A 27-year-old Detroit man was shot to death early Sunday morning along Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, according to police.
The shooting happened at 1:45 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and 8 Mile Road in Ferndale, according to police.
Moments after the shooting, a 911 caller told officials they saw a man collapse outside a Ford Escape on the Woodward Avenue bridge over 8 Mile Road, according to police.

The 27-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.
Police believe the man was driving the SUV south on Woodward when he was shot.

"This is a tragic event and our thoughts are with the victimβs family as well as loved ones during this difficult time. We are committed to finding those responsible," Ferndale Police Chief Dennis Emmi said. "We urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing justice to the victim and his family."
No other information was immediately released.
