• Defendant in Orchid Theatre shooting found not guilty (candgnews.com) — A jury has found a 29-year-old man not guilty on all charges related to an April shooting outside Ferndale’s Orchid Theatre on West Nine Mile. Police say the victim, a Warren man, was shot once after an exchange near the club’s patio, and Ferndale officers used camera technology to identify and arrest the suspect before his recent acquittal.
