Come for the first annual Christmas tree lighting. There will be hot chocolate, and carol singalongs, the tree lighting, and then the Jingle Jam, β€œA Christmas party big enough for the whole family. Kids and adults will enjoy skits, refreshments and cookies, will take home crafts that the kids will make that night”
Tickets are free, but the township asks people to register via Eventbrite for planning purposes.

BYOB Tour of Detroit, Wild Lights, Rochester Light Departing from Utica

Saturday, Dec 9. Bus departs from Red Ox Tavern at 5:30; boarding is at 5:15.

This 21 and older event nets you a complimentary Santa hat and bus transportation to Detroit and the Campus Martius ice rink and Christmas tree, followed by a jaunt to Royal Oak for Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo and Rochester for the big bright light show at 9. The bus departs Rochester after the light show at around 9:45 and is expected to return revelers to the Red Ox around 10:15 p.m. Tickets via Eventbrite.
