Saturday, Aug. 17:
This day will be full of automotive action, highlighted by the 15th Annual Mustang Alley, starting at 10 a.m. and comprised of nearly 800 classic, restored, custom and new Ford Mustangs, from Woodward to Hilton, on East Nine Mile Road. On West Nine Mile Road, the 3rd Annual Michigan Gumball Rally will be providing additional automotive excitement with plenty of sports cars, movie and television vehicles and imagination.
History ... the Woodward Dream Cruise began in 1995 by Ferndale resident (Mr. Nelson House) and a dedicated group of volunteers. Since then, the dream has grown into a 16-mile radius cruise along the historic Woodward Avenue, involving nine participating municipalities and becoming known as the “world’s largest car cruiser event."
As the founding community of the Woodward Dream Cruise, we are proud to continue the dream made possible with the assistance of over 60 dedicated volunteers. We work hard to create an environment that is fun and safe for everyone to enjoy and participate.
