1 Dead, 1 Injured In Harper Woods Shooting: Police

One person was killed and another was injured in a Thursday morning Harper Woods shooting, according to police.

HARPER WOODS, MI — One person was killed and another was injured in a Thursday morning Harper Woods shooting, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened at 8:55 a.m. in the 19300 block of Kelly Road where officers found a 37-year-old man shot to death and a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The 25-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

Police described the shooter as a man about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white shoes and possibly a ski mask.

The shooter fled the scene in a newer-style Dodge Charger with tinted windows and a poor black paint, which they believe was spray paint, police said.
