Closings This Labor Day in Grosse Pointe

As you get your Labor Day celebrations underway today, keep in mind there are several businesses that are closed in observance. 

Among those that are closed: 

• Banks
• City, State and Federal Offices
• the Post Office 
• Many of the locally owned Grosse Pointe Shops
• the remainder of retailers are operating on reduced hours

Trash Removal has also been rescheduled in all of the Grosse Pointes. Trash day will be one day later than normal throughtout the week. It will return to the normal schedule next week.
