Fun Runs, Plays, Blood Drive and Parade to Honor Little League Champions Planned for This Weekend

Grosse Pointe North and Grosse Pointe Theater will take the stage, fun runs and a blood drive are some of the events happening this weekend in the Grosse Pointes.

Here are some events to add to your weekend calendar:

Grosse Pointe Theatre's presentation of the musical, Gypsy, plays Thursday - Saturday at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial.
Grosse Pointe Shores will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday. To schedule an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org with sponsor code villageofgp.
Grosse Pointe North will present "Almost Maine" Friday - Sunday.
The Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League will be honored with a parade Saturday afternoon at City Hall. The ceremony will be followed by Fall Fest.
The Grosse Pointe Sunrise Rotary Club will hold the Grosse Pointe Run starting at 9 a.m. Saturday starting at Pier Park. For more information, visit the event website.
