Good Morning Grosse Pointe: Sept. 26

1. Rainy conditions are likely, as there is an 80 percent chance of precipitation with a high near 69, according to the National Weather Service. The chance dwindles to 50 percent at night with a low of 57 and mostly cloudy conditions.

2. The Board meets tonight. The agenda includes the following:

• Recognition of the girls' track team, which earned the Division I State Championship title.

The board will also consider and vote upon:

• The 2011-12 tax rates.
• A resolution to restore clerical staff at those elementary schools offering the free breakfast program through a Title I program and the middle schools.
• A change in the legal counsel that assists in special education matters.
